I was hoping I could drop my winter coat last week. Then the snow happened and paired with sub-zero temperatures it looks like it's here to stay. In consequence I was unable to attend work for the rest of the week and my attempt at getting supplies last night ended with me sliding down the slope
When I saw Trona from Ayelined talking about Beauty Pie's skincare, I knew I wanted to give it a go right away. Quality products for a fraction of a price? I signed up and filled in my basket. I'm not entirely sure where I stand with Beauty Pie's offer yet. I'm always suspicious when it comes to any kind of subscriptions, however,
I decided to merge these two months together since 1. The beginning of the year is barely ever the happiest of time for me and 2. I'm basically done with winter and am pretty much ready for spring. However, there are bits and bobs I enjoyed lately. Let me talk you through them.
Before I get to the subject I am very aware of the fact that this is my first post of 2018 and we're more than half way into the month. Getting back into the swing of things always takes me a bit longer than usual in January. The best thing about the end of the year are lists, summaries and round-ups of everything that stood out those past twelve months. I surely like to read about other people's highlights but for some reason have never written about mines until now. So here it is.
I didn't go very far with my blogging plans for December, did I? When life gets in the way it is hard to keep up with everything else. Work has been crazy busy and my mood has been continuously down a lot. Plus I feel like I've been battling flu since the begging of Autumn.
I love skincare. Judging by the last couple of posts it's all I talk about. When I find a product that works I instantly share my thoughts. My skin is quite dry and has a tendency to go through dehydration stages, it's something I've been battling for a long time.
It's Monday and I just put up a festive bunting up on a wall. It's finally that time of the year to go and dig out the tree out of a shed. Or schedule buying a real one if you don't mind the mess and want your house to smell like freshly cut pine (any candle recommendation?).
