My skin has not been its best these days. Usually I would blame it on the seasons changing but this time I know it's probably due to me not being very consistent with my routines and perhaps a little bit too adventurous with other products (I can't help myself).
I chose not to repurchase The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter only because I spotted my other favourite on offer. Soap and Glory The Ultimelt is currently 30% off in Boots. Bargain.
It's the cleanser I trust and definitely the one to go to if you're looking for something on a budget. It comes in a chunky rubber-type tube which I prefer over pots. The product itself is one of the most effective ones I've tried. It does contain essential oils so you might take that into consideration in case your skin is sensitive. If you're not too bothered with herbal scents, it might be the one to buy.
Another one I'd recommend especially for parched skin is the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5. It's a thick, glycerin based balm. Because it's paraben/lanolin/scent-free it's meant to eliminate the likelihood of causing irritation. It softens and offers an instant relief to the driest of skin. I picked the 40ml, but it's available in different sizes. Also, it's on offer in Boots as well.
Have you tried these?
