You know me, I'm always always looking high and low for the best skincare to battle my dryness, and recently an uneven tone and a general lack of oomph. My skin has not been the greatest recently. It's really been bothering me and if you think you can recommend something then please feel free to do so in the comments. I did however manage to find a few bits I've been pleased with.

OLAY REGENERIST LUMINOUS

I picked this up on a whim and I’m so glad I did. This treatment is designed to battle discolouration and an uneven skin tone and bring out the glow by penetrating the deeper layers of the skin. I’m not entirely sure if it does exactly that or whether it’s to do with the pearl-like properties mimicking a brighter looking skin. Or maybe because it contains Niacinamide, a key ingredient to reduce the appearance of dark spots. I use it morning and night and I have definitely noticed an improvement right away in terms of brightness and smoothness. It is rather lightweight in texture and I make sure to follow up with an SPF.

BEAUTY PIE RE-ELASTIC CONCENTRATE

I’m a huge fan of Beauty Pie’s skincare. I have been consistently trying out their products since I bought the monthly subscription. Honestly I cannot think of one item I would not like. This one is described as a lifting in a bottle by the company itself. I was intrigued, not gonna lie. It’s definitely designed for more mature skin types. I have been using it for a few weeks now, morning and night. Again it’s quite lightweight in texture but it really does hydrate well. I am not entirely sold on the lifting and sculpting effect it’s meant to deliver but it it really great if your skin suffers from dryness or dehydration.

FORMULA ABSOLUTE SERUM ELIXIR

This glass bottle caught my attention when browsing beauty shelves in M&S. So I did a little research and found out that this serum took a very long time to launch and is meant to improve skin’s texture, correct uneven skin tone and generally reveal a firmer and plumper complexion. So ‘a wonder product’ I thought. It’s quite a gentle product despite being multi-functional. I have been using it day and night religiously and can tell my skin looks glowier and healthier than usual. Price wise it sits somewhere in the middle but I’d say it’s worth it taking into consideration it does a whole lot of good things for your skin. I am sold.
