My Favourite Skincare Products of May
Earlier last month I mentioned buying Black Rose Cream Mask from Sisley. I was at the airport, I saw it, it was a good deal, I bought it and loved using it dreading I would have to repurchase because it was that good. It unfortunately is/was also pretty expensive and I don't think I can justify buying it again this month despite its amazing results. Hence, I've been a handful of more purse-friendly products a go and I think I might have found some good ones.
NIVEA Q10 + C SLEEP CREAM
I don't usually dabble in Nivea's range but this time I took a second look when I spotted this little tube in Boots. It is designed for tired and dull skin and thanks to Vitamin C being its primary component it's meant to recharge and re-energise your skin overnight. Sounds good so far and something I would benefit from as my skin classifies as mature now and it definitely needs some stronger ingredients. I've been using this product for the whole month and I'm not entirely sure about the improved appearance of fine lines but I can without a doubt say that my skin has been brighter. I am also really liking the handy aluminium packaging with a nozzle, it all makes the application better.
BEAUTY PIE JAPANFUSION SUPREME CREAM
When Beauty Pie launched their Japanfusion range I knew I had to try it. Now I know their prices aren't the lowest if you're not a member, but it you are subscribed you can get this pot for about a tenner. I am still testing and deciding if I want to stay in for a longer time. If I did it would be for their amazing skincare products. I picked this cream and I have not stopped using it since. I like to apply it day and night and I'm really impressed with how long it keeps the moisture in. I definitely see the difference when I stop using it. My skin is VISIBLY plump. I think you should try it out.
L'OREAL PARIS PURE CLAY GLOW MASK
I know I'm late to the party with these l'oreal masks but I'm always very sceptical when it comes to anything new that claims to be innovative or revolutionary. I got this pot for a fiver when I was scoping the shelves for something to exfoliate my skin. It's infused with red algae and three types of clay. It is meant to reveal a brighter and glowier skin which is something I evidently aim for. The texture is very creamy yet grainy, I tend to just leave it on for as long as I can instead of rubbing the beads in. Am I using it right?
SUPER FACIALIST RETINOL + RESTORING SERUM
My journey with retionl has begun not so long ago and I'm still testing a lot of different products trying to find the one that suits my needs. I really liked Beauty Pie's version but there will always be other I would want to try. I love Super Facialist's products, as you might know. I cannot think of a one I wouldn't like. Their offering is comparatively small but each products really delivers. I really like their hydrating collection but when I spotted an anti-ageing one I proceeded to grab a few. Honestly, I would recommend the whole thing (range). My skin looks like it's in better condition everyday.
HAVE YOU TRIED THESE PRODUCTS? WHAT DID YOU THINK?
