New from Revlon: Sunlit Dream Highlighting Palette

As I am coming close to running out of my Charlotte Tilbury's highlighter I thought it was time to hit the drugstore and see what their options are. And there's quite a lot. I have been including highlighters in my daily makeup routine for over ten years now. I cannot be without it, it adds depth to the look, it brightens up the face and makes everything come together.

Revlon's offering comes in a sleek case of four pots. The texture of these is quite powdery but finely milled and not chalky which is good. The added duo chrome pearl gives a rather powerful effect so if you're into a subtle glow this might not be for you. [unless you use it wisely]. If however you fancy a bit of an oomph these might satisfy you. The lightest shade [1] is way too pale for me and I use it in my inner eye corners mostly. The golden one [2] is more flattering and so is the cool tone one [3]. I use these on the highest points of my face. I haven't found the purpose for the last shade [4] as it doesn't seem to be working well with my skin tone now that my tan is gone.

Overall, I'm quite impressed with the quality of it. It's a great palette to try if you're on a budget but want something that works well. It is also available in a Galaxy Dream version
