The Best Lipstick on a Budget
I wrote about these bullets a while back, two years ago to be precise (wow) and they still remain my favourites to buy when I struggle to repurchase the likes of Charlotte Tilbury. This time around I may have found my favourite nude shade.
WHAT IS IT?
Sexy Mother Pucker lipsticks from Soap & Glory. They've been around for a while but for some reason no one seems to be talking about these plus I've not seen them sell anywhere else but Boots (correct me if I'm wrong).
WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT THEM?
Honestly everything. And I have had plenty of time to trial other purse-friendly options. Highly moisturising and creamy formula, decent staying power and an impressive range of non-generic shades make them so much better than the rest. Coming in three different finishes (matte, satin, shine) it's hard for me to decide which one is my go-to, I think Satin might be slightly winning here. The finish is flawless.
THE BEST NUDE
For a while I've been faithful to Wine Not?- a rich warm tones berry, really flattering. But as I have become quite enamoured with an understated nude lip (and falling in love with Pillow Talk) I desperately needed a budget alternative. The Sexy Mother Pucker's Nude selection includes 8 shades. Hence, you're bound to find something to suit your skin tone and preferences. I have definitely found the one. Super Nude is a medium toned beige/brown/peach/pink. It has the right amount of each which makes it the perfect my lips but better colour.
